Luhan reportedly banned from entering Taiwan for the next five years due to his controversy of working in Taiwan using a Tourist visa.

According to a relevant Taiwanese news outlet on May 2, actor and singer Luhan arrived in Taiwan to shoot an episode of the Chinese variety show "Going to School". However, while shooting the said show, Local immigration found out that the celebrity is only carrying a tourist visa instead of a working visa since he is ought to work in the country. Aside from that, the immigration also asks the production team to explain regarding the case prohibited until their stay in the country for further investigation.

It is within the judiciary to have a working visa who wants to legally work in the country but in Luhan's case, he only acquired a travel visa which indicates that he is illegally working in the country. With this negligence, Luhan is said to be banned from entering Taiwan for the next five years with a tourist visa, and 2 years for a working visa. This implies that Luhan cannot longer visit Taiwan for 5 years, but he is authorized to visit after 2 years for only business purposes. (allkpop)

The Production staff of the variety program also commented about the case thru their SNS account stating, "Our lack of experience caused a lack of preparation, we will take care of the artist and end the recording safely."

Luhan together with some of his cast members and crew members have been also forfeited in entering Taiwan for only having a tourist visa. The variety show then promptly stopped filming and apologized for the mistake being made.
