The upcoming episode of NCIS is geared up to produce captivating yet intriguing storylines before it touches the conclusion phase.

Gradually accepting the fact that NCIS will be moving towards its season finale and most importantly, the beloved beau of the series Anthony DiNozzo will not be gracing us with his presence, the viewers have definitely been put off.

But the series has added an extra dash of spice just to keep the audience glued to their television screens. Hopes are high as the First Lady of the United States will make a special entry on the American, investigation based drama serials.

The episode 22 is titled as Homefront and it will bring about a special case of a 14 year old boy who impedes a home invasion. Special Agent will in the end, start doubting the teenage boy as he will be hiding relevant and pertinent details regarding the case.

On the other hand, Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) will head over to London together with Senior FBI Agent Fornell (Joe Spano) to grasp a British spy named Jacob Scott (Vince Nappo) who is planning for vengeance on the NCIS team.

Michelle Obama will be the highlight of the episode and will be shedding limelight on joining Forces, which is an initiative to accommodate US veterans and military members.

According to Parade, 'Glasberg says that the staff at NCIS has been aware of Joining Forces for a while and wanted to build a story around the initiative'.

The episode will be a poignant one as NCIS is down to a few episodes and after that DiNozzo's character will be terminated. The team is still planning on how to withdraw his character, maybe get him killed or otherwise, only time will tell!

Speaking to TVLine, Glasberg said, "People should absolutely be planning on some really serious, heart-wrenching moments. There'll be tissues involved."

NCIS" airs every Tuesday, 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
