News reports indicate that "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" will also introduce "Pokémon Cry Translator." Even though this feature was to be introduced with "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y," it didn't become available with these titles.

However, now the reports suggest that the "Pokémon Cry Translator" will be integrated in the upcoming titles. With the help of this feature, players will be able to understand what Pokémon is saying.

"But one thing that I wanted to put in that didn't quite make it was a translating machine for Pokémon cries, to find out what they're saying," Junichi Masuda, director of "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon," told Nintendo Life. "So you have this machine and when a Pokémon cries out something, text would appear telling you exactly what that Pokémon is saying."

The idea behind Masuda's plan to integrate a translator was not just to enhance the gaming experience but to get a competitive edge for the franchise as this option will not work for their competitors. Even though they failed in the last, hopefully the feature will be available in "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon." He also added that it will take time for the translator to be implemented because there are high number of Pokémon, over 600, and huge amount of text that needs to be translated.

Masuda also hinted that the translator may also be integrated into future games as well. "This could be something that might appear in future games, but it sadly didn't make X and Y," he said. Many are hoping that this feature will now be available in "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon."
