Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016, also known as E3, is one of the largest trade shows in the world. Many players, developers and like-minded industry people come together to discuss and share the newly launched and the upcoming games.

However, with passage of time, the number of attendees attending E3 has gone down considerably. Hence, the fans began to speculate that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will not be released during E3 that is scheduled to happen between June 14 and 16.

Reports has confirmed that there will be no news about RDR on E3 and that the fans will have to wait until next year for any confirmed announcement about the game. The only way to get any update is to wait for Rockstar to release an official statement about the games' launching date.

Many fans and critics were visibly disappointed when they learned that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will not be announced anytime soon. According to the rumors, the reason for delay has been attributed to the game's unconfirmed title.

There are also reports that previous news about "Red Dead Redemption: Legends of the West," may be entirely fake as no official statement about the game has been released yet.

According to Karl Slatoff, president of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., "We don't intend to change annual strategy because of product fatigue. [Take-Two] creates franchise value and [releases have] to be managed deliberately," Slatoff said in a statement. "It's tempting to have continuous releases and milk a franchise as far as you can, [but] we've seen that fatigue in other franchises in the games industry. With almost every single franchise for us, the latest release is bigger than the one before."
