Injuries are a part and parcel of almost all sports but when it comes to the WWE it is almost common place considering the punishment most athletes put themselves through during the course of their fights. Over the years, plenty of super stars' careers have been affected due to injuries and the lastest in that assembly lines is Bray Wyatt, who was well on his way to becoming one of the most popular stars in the industry following his babyface turn.

When the WWE went on their momentous European tour a few months back, Wyatt suffered the injury that has kept him out of action ever since and although it seems that the star is trying to make a return to the ring real soon, the chances of that happening seem bleak since he might find himself in the sidelines for a longer period.

According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Inc. the star is not going to be turning out for the WWE anytome soon. The report stated, "It was reported last week that Bray Wyatt was expected to be out of action for 4-6 weeks but Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live today that he heard 6-8 weeks. As noted, Wyatt suffered a right calf injury during the live event match against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns on April 13th in Italy." The most unfortunate thing about his injury is the fact that following his babyface turn, Wyatt had become one of the most popular wrestlers and there was a palpable feeling that he was on the cusp of something special. It needs to be remembered that his time as a heel did not go too well and it seems that the WWE creative team had in fact identified his potential as a babyface.

There were even rumours that he was on track to get a title shot at some point in the future but his absence from the next two pay per views (at least) has put paid to those prospects. It is expected that he will continue in that avatar when he returns to the fold after the layoff.
