One of the top pitchers in the league, Cole Hamels could still be up for grabs. The lefty ace finished 2014 with a record of 9-9 and an ERA of 2.46. He recorded 198 strikeouts over 204.2 innings. Hamels, who has four more years left with a $94 million guarantee, is rumored to be courted by two main teams.

1. Boston Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox, who have added pitchers Rick Porcello, Wade Miley and Justin Masterson since losing out on Jon Lester, appear to be on the market for another starting pitcher. Rumors are circulating that the Red Sox have not fallen out of the race for Hamels.

"Don't discount the idea of someone (else signing)," Bob Ryan said on The Jon Feinstein Show. "I don't think they're in the (Max) Scherzer derby, but they still are not out of the (Cole) Hamels thing. They (still) have all the prospects that were (reportedly of interest in a deal for Hamels)."

If the Red Sox want to trade for Hamels, they would be expected to deal from their system.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers

The LA Dodgers have certainly revamped their team by making several unexpected trades, such as giving up Matt Kemp to the San Diego Padres. According to some sources, all of these moves could enable the Dodgers to seek deals with high-priced free agents or make trades for key players, such as Hamels.

Getting Hamels, however, will not be easy. According to Ryne Sandberg via Yahoo! Sports, Phillies general manager Rueben Amaro Jr. will trade Hamels only if he is "wowed."

"There's no way that Ruben's going to just give away a player," Sandberg said. "I mean, we'd have to be wowed to give up a guy like Cole Hamels, which would be a wow that would help us with the process and go in the direction that we want to go....Whether Ruben gets wowed or not is yet to be seen. If not, then he's on our pitching staff, and we build some more starting pitching depth around him."

The Phillies reportedly want to add younger players to their roster.
