Only recently Nintendo announced that they will be making mobile games for smartphone users. While many believed that it will be Mario, the fans will have to wait a while before that one shows on the App store. However, what Nintendo has conclusively announced is a mobile version of "Fire Emblem" and "Animal Crossing."

"Animal Crossing" is one of most popular games offered by Nintendo. In this version, the players will play as a beginner to a town with many friendly animals. The players will have goals such as collecting insect or making your house the biggest size possible. There are also times when certain events will get synced to your actual calendar, so it will be fun to see what is happening one day to the next.

Another one to make it to the mobile platform is "Fire Emblem." This RPG game is very popular among gamers and is also capable of being fully operable on touchscreens.

However, the question is, how will these franchises feature on iOS. It doesn't seem like Nintendo will discourage their own upcoming new hardware by making their big games available on competing platforms. This is the reason it is best to wait and watch what Nintendo is planning with these games. There is a fair chance that "Fire Emblem" appears like a Clash of Clans spin-off and Animal Crossing is a free-to-play game.

For now, Nintendo is planning to aiming at fall release of these two games on mobile platform so it is only a matter of time when the fans will know for sure.

"Animal Crossing" is a game based on simulated animal world, while "Fire Emblem" is a tactical RPG game which is expected to be more connected and accessible on mobile platforms than it is on the conventional consoles. The titles can also be played on Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and other Nintendo platforms.
