It if often said that it is a privilege to play for Barcelona but when it comes to some of the biggest talents in the world, they want to able to play as regularly as possible and in that regard Barcelona's German goalkeeper Marc-Ander Ter Stegen has not had the greatest of spells at the Camp Nou. The German who joined the Catalan giants back in 2014 has been behind the pecking order to Caludio Bravo and now wants out of the club, which is why the club are now looking for a deal for German club Bayer Leverkusen's goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Accoridng to reports published by the Spanish publication Marca, the club are trying to bring Bernd Leno to the Camp Nou as the second in command for the goalkeeping position to Claudio Bravo.

Claudio Bravo has been Barcelona's first choice keeper ever since he joined the club back in 2014 while Ter Stegen has been the fixture for European games and cup games as well, however the arrangement has not gone down well with the German shot stopper. The player had a meeting with the powers that be at the club but could not get the reassurances he was looking for regarding playing time and it seems that he might be off in the summer, which is why Barcelona have now made a concerted effort tyo tie up a deal with Leverkusen for the services Bernd Leno as soon as possible.

Leno is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in German football and is rumoured to be looking for a move to either Spain or England in the summer, which is why the link makes sense. The player has also had a run in with the manager and it seems that he is definitely on his way out of Bayer Leverkusen. On the other hand, Ter Stegen has been linked with moves to English football with either of Liverpool or Manchester City, however it seems Liverpool is a better option for him since he would be able to get first team football at Anfield.
