One Direction News Update: Crazy Fans Dedicate Sweet Messages to Niall Horan

Everyone knows how charming and adorable Niall Horan is. The One Direction member enjoys a good fan following and admirers love him for his goodness and grace.

According to reports, he has now taken to charitable causes which has made him all the more popular and loved. At present, the One Direction Band is on an 18-month break and this has given Horan ample time to reflect and join causes he cares about.

Of late, he is reported to have joined Justin Rose and both are working on songs for charity. And in an interesting turn of events, he along with Justin Timberlake and Justin Rose stopped by the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship finals. Kids were working for their final preparations at the venue and the visit was no less than a surprise for the participants.

They were so floored with the singer's warm gesture that they took to Twitter to pour out their gratitude and love. They named Sunday as Niall Day and the microblogging site was trending with #NiallDay and #ProjectHome for hours.

The fans expressed their affection and admiration with numerous tweets and cited his decent behavior and lesser propensity to drama as the reasons for their liking. The tweets were lovely with some saying that the fact he existed was enough to give them a reason to celebrate.

It is worth mentioning here that Niall's rise to popularity is in itself a story of dramatic turns where he got unexpected support from others. The singer came to limelight with the seventh series of the X-factor competition. The judges had mixed reactions to his rendition of Ne-Yo's "So Sick" but Katy Perry gave him the thumbs up and since she held the deciding vote, he was able to move ahead.

Nicole Scherzinger was also instrumental in getting him to the One Direction band as it was he who suggested him to join the band, which then made it to the finals. The advice proved to be magical and turned out to be a milestone in his career.
