Uncharted 4: A Thief's end is the upcoming sequel to the Uncharted 3: Drake's deception scheduled to be released sometime in May this year. It is an action and adventure third person shooter game developed by Naughty Dog but Published by Sony for their PlayStation 4 console.

This game is set several years after the events of Uncharted 3 where Drake's world takes a turn of events when his older brother Sam suddenly reappears from the dead seeking Drake's help. The trailer shows an ancient African continent while the voice over can be heard. The trailer pauses when the map stops at Madagascar and Sainte-Marie is marked which was part of Drake's travel router.

In 2014 March, the series writer and creative director along with the game director all had quit the studio to join Riot games. The game was originally scheduled to be released last year in March but however due to unforeseen consequences the launch was delayed to a year further and finally the release date was confirmed after a second launch delay in December. With the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End getting nearer and nearer every day, fans have braced themselves for the release of the final installment in the beloved series. Developer Naughty Dog has announced that there will be one last trailer before the game's release in May.

This will be the last Unchartered game and no additional sequels. This is a bit saddening to Unchartered fans. However, they are all excited about the new release and also about the kind of amazing experience Uncharted offers as a whole. The Creative director has hinted that he wouldn't mind if some other studio had to take over for developing the Unchartered 5 but as of now, nothing is known.
