Capcom is developing next installment of Resident Evil franchise which will be called "Resident Evil 7." According to the speculations, the game will be announced during E3 and will be released sometime this year. However, it looks like it won't happen.

For now, the game developer is all focused on "Resident evil 2 Remake," which will be announced at E3 2016 before launching by the end of this year. As a result, it seems unlikely that Capcom will launch two of its massive titles in the same year. Even if the company does develop both the games in time, it does not make business sense to launch them both a few days apart.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that the upcoming installment of the Resident Evil series will follow its origins of a horror game since the last two parts failed to impress the fans. Thankfully, the game developers took heed of the gamers' sentiments and promised to take inspiration from the first three games for developing the seventh installment, says a report. However, it would be too soon to expect too much from the game until the plot is revealed.

Some of the big names that are expected to make a comeback in RE 7 will be William Birkins and Nemesis. These two bad boys have given gamers chills in the past and will make a perfect boss fight in the upcoming installment of the game. In fact, bringing them back will be an ultimate horror story plot for the fans. But since there is no confirmation from Capcom yet, the fans will have to wait and watch.
