After about a couple of year's wait for the final details on Virtual reality and different manufacturers, all of them are out with their own products in the sense of hardware. It's now official that PlayStation's also in to the Virtual Reality game with bringing their own VR kit.

Sony was pretty late in the game but however they did have a product for their console users. Sony now have announced that their new PSVR-PlayStation VirtualReality will debut this October across the majority of continents with North America, Europe and Australia being the obvious choices as Sony's priorities.

The PlayStation VR headset will be costing about 399$ in the United States and about 349 sterling pound and about 549AUD in Australia. As an obvious pre-requisite, you will need a PlayStation 4 console to use their own virtual reality kit. An optional extra is the PlayStation move controller which will work on mostly some games.

The VR headset will weigh about more than half a kilogram with the precise value being around 610 grams including the cable. The processor unit will cost about 365 grams. The display panel is supposed to be OLED with the size being around 5.7 inches. You can have a field of view of around hundred degrees.

Refresh rate has a solid 120hz for smooth vision. There will be a six-axis motion sensing system with three being for gyroscope and three for accelerometer. In the box you'll be getting 1 unit of the VR headset itself with 1 unit of the processor along with 1 unit of VR's headset connection cable. Standard units of 1 quantity will be a HDMI cable, a USB cable and of course stereo headphone with a complete set of earpiece being included in the box. 1 units of AC power cord along with 1 unit of AC adaptor. There are also reports that all PS 4 games can be experienced on their VR headset. Sony are all but happy to bundle a handset as well as the camera and a move controller in their product shipping unit.
