Even though not much information has been shared about the highly anticipated title, but according to a rumor, the game is set to launch on both Nintendo NX and Wii U.

In this month, there have been numerous speculations that support this rumor. In a comprehensive NeoGAF thread, many details about the upcoming NX were shared, amongst which it was also revealed that the new console will have also get a re-mastered version of Wii U games. Looks like, "The Legend of Zelda Wii U" will be amongst those games, even though its release date for the current console is yet to be released.

Apart from that, Emily Rogers, Nintendo Blogger, suggested that the upcoming game would indeed be made available for the two consoles after she confirmed the rumors through her own credible sources.

At this point, the NX console and the game itself are both at uncertain stage. It is hard to tell if either of these rumors will hold true in the coming months. However, the number of people vouching for the rumor have increased considerably which lends some legitimacy to the news.

In a recent interview, game producer Eiji Aonuma discussed how the developers are completely focused on the game and gave reassurance to the fans to expect the news sometime soon.

Hopefully, that also means that game is nearing its completion stage and that more official details will be rolled out soon. Even though there is no confirmed news about "The Legend of Zelda Wii U" being available on Nintendo NX too, but if the game producers are indeed planning such a move, then the fans can expect to hear a word about it soon.
