Sense8' season 2 release date and rumors: Who Is the New Villain on the Show?
Sense8 is a show about eight strangers who are emotionally and mentally connected, just like a Sensate.
Since the first season received a fairly well reception, it was only a matter of time when the second season was to be announced. However, since there was no word about Sense8 on Netflix's list of renewed shows, fans assumed the worst.
According to the show writer, Bryce Olin, the team is targeting June 2016 for its premier. However, from the looks of it, it appears to be rather ambitious.
Olin added, "I really hope Netflix can release 'Sense8' Season 2 in June, but simple math suggests we really shouldn't 'expect' to see Season 2 until much later in the summer or fall of 2016."
Since "Sense8" is being shot in various parts of the world, it is completely understandable if the show takes a while to air.
As far as the show plot is concerned, "Sense8 Season 2," will most probably feature a love triangle between Rajan (Purab Kohli), Kala (Tina Desai) and Wolfgang (Max Riemelt).
Rumor has it that Rajan will be the show's main villain in "Sense8 Season 2." If that is indeed true, it will make Kala more inclined towards Wolfgang.
If the news reports are to be believed, the show filming is yet to start next month. Other reports indicate that Will will regain consciousness in "Sense8 Season 2." Even the Whispers are expected to make a comeback, having power over Will forever.
