Kpop News: f(x)’s Amber talks about gender discrimination

Since the debut of the girl group f(x)'s Amber received a lot of questions coming up regarding her gender identity. With the looks and appearance she portrays, many people are curious of it.

On April 19, Amber speaks about gender discrimination. She relays messages via her Instagram and twitter account. (soompi)

In her tweet she quoted a question that someone asked her saying, "So, when are you gonna be a girl?"

As she answers, "Umm.. I am a girl. A girl can be who she wants. I'm just saying. Let's be more open-minded here." She adds, "You can't ignore discrimination. You need to fix it.

Many fans are amazed and inspired on how Amber deal situations like this. Amber definitely let everyone reflect and be open-minded of this issue. For everyone is equal. Amber highlighted that we are who we are, no matter how we look, to whatever gender.
She also advises everyone not to ignore nor neglect discrimination, it should be fixed.
With her recent released songs she truly passes on the message of “loving yourself”.

f(x) is a four-member group consists Krystal, Amber, Luna and Victoria. f(x) have been acknowledged as "the most reliable risk-taking act in K-pop due to their experimental fashion and their eclectic, electro-pop genre of music". Each member has also participated not only in singing but also in other forms of entertainment, such as acting and television hosting,which make them even more popular.
