Eminem reappeared last month after a long sabbatical and took the stage in South America's Lollapalooza festival. Even though it has been a while since the rapper released any new music, reports indicate that Eminem's set received maximum crowd as compared to other scheduled performances.

According to the local promoters of the event, as many as 80,000 people attended the Lollapalooza and most of them stayed on till the end to see the 43-year-old star perform.

Even when artists such as Kanye West, Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been in the rapping scene lately, Eminem is still considered one of the greatest rapper industry has ever seen. The fans also anticipate the debut of Eminem's ninth album. Although there is no official announcement about the upcoming project but rumors claim that he is secretly working on his new album and spending most of his time in the recording studios.

According to recent reports, a source confirmed that Eminem is doing all he can to keep the news about his album from becoming public.

"It's still in the early stages," said a source to the website. "He's got security on the doors to ensure no one hears a whisper." The website also claims that Eminem is rumored to be planning a worldwide tour at the end of 2017. But on Monday, April 18, the report was updated with a sentence which reads, "This story seems to be false."

Rumor has it that the album is expected to pair with 50 Cent for his forthcoming album. Although the album was slated for release sometime this year, the rapper's busy schedule may cause delays.

So far, Eminem and his representatives have not confirmed the rumors yet.
