LouEvilOne, a redditor, claims that the script has various unexpected plot twists in the upcoming installment of the film, including "Rey is the reincarnation of Anakin Skywalker".

Luke Skywalker, according to the post, travels to his hiding spot "to better understand how the process [of reincarnation] works." It is here that he learns how "the spirit of the chosen one is reincarnated by the Force every time the universe is thrown out of balance, which apparently happens on a semi-regular basis".

It explains why Rey is "so crazy powerful with the Force (remember that Anakin blew up the Trade Federation donut ship by himself when he was like 8 years old)", says LouEvilOne.

In another such twist, it is revealed that Rey was born out of a virgin birth. This theory explains director JJ Abrams' recent comment about Rey's parents in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." "Rey's parents are not in Episode 7, so I can't possibly say who they are at this moment," he said in a Q & A session with Entertainment Weekly.

The plot leak reveals the plot that follows Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) in an adventure to locate and uncover First Order Spies, leaving Rey on side of the plot. Meanwhile, General Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) is trying hard to maintain the control of resistance after new leader, Lord Vikram (Benico Del Toro) arrives. He is "quickly put into power by the few senators still around to maintain order."

Star Wars Episode 8 will release in cinemas on December 15, 2017.
