Despite all the rumors about GTA 6 that is taking the internet by the storm, Rockstar has been rather tight-lipped when it comes to the sixth installment of GTA series.

According to some insider analysts, the game has a high possibility of being set in time. However, how far back remains unknown. Since the game is currently in development phase, it is only a matter of time when the information about the game is rolled out to the eager fans.

If recent rumors are to be believed, the game has already completed its map-building stage for the next title. To add fuel to the fire, Rockstar North recently posted a job seeking applications for technical scripter. This is the reason, it is safe to assume that there will some news about the new game soon, coming straight from the developers.

While Rockstar has remained silent about "GTA 6" or its release, it appears that the game's development is progressing steadily and the fans would have to wait at least three years before it is officially out.

Previous rumors indicated that GTA 6 will be set overseas, likely location being Tokyo. However, now it seems that the game is definitely not going abroad and will be set somewhere in Las Vegas or Bogota.

Another rumor associated with this game title is its possibility of being available for VR including platforms like PC and PS4, except Xbox One.

During the interview with the publication, Rockstar President Leslie Benzie said, "We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do. We don't know what GTA 6 will be, but we've got some ideas."

Apart from the virtual reality aspect, "GTA 6" may in fact include more weapons and increase number of missions, which depend on the sky as opposed to land, since players appear to have taken a liking to the flight aspects of "GTA."
