Drew Rosenhaus will no longer be officially representing or negotiating in behalf of his former NFL client, John Manziel.

As he spoke on the matter in a SirusXM NFL Radio interview, Rosenhaus explained why he terminated his contract with ex-Cleveland Browns QB after repeated attempts to get the troubled athlete's life straightened up.

"I don't think I can express it enough -- it's a life-and-death situation," Rosenhaus explained as quoted in a report by NFL.com.

The NFL agent added, "I'm not talking about football anymore. I'm talking about a young man who's in trouble."

Rosenhaus mentioned that at the outset of his contract with Manziel, it was pretty straightforward and clear that the agreement was 'contingent upon the QB entering a treatment facility' which the former Browns QB repeatedly failed or refused to do.

"I have informed him that if he takes the immediate steps I have outlined for him that I will rescind the termination and continue to represent him. Otherwise the termination will become permanent. There is a five-day window for me to rescind the termination. I'm hoping he takes the necessary steps to get his life back on track," Rosenhaus revealed in another interview with ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Manziel was a subject of intense scrutiny by the grand jury in Dallas, Texas on the alleged domestic assault on his ex-girlfriend. Likewise, the NFL is conducting its own investigation for any possible breach of personal conduct policy following the said incident.

In a latest Manziel roundup, the former NFL quarterback took another wild turn in his crazy offseason when LA police revealed that Manziel was a passenger in a car linked to a recent hit-and-run case as reported by CBS Sports.

Lately, Manziel has been repeatedly seen partying to his heart's content between Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Miami ever since being fired by his former employer, the Cleveland Browns.
