Season 6 ‘New Girl’ Confirmed by FOX, Megan Fox to Make a Comeback

As the new episode of "New Girl" is about to be aired, FOX confirms that the network will renew the series for its sixth season.

David Madden, president- Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, announced that New Girl will continue on to its sixth season.

 "Every network comedy should aspire to what Liz Meriwether is achieving in NEW GIRL, with its bravura dialogue, inventive and witty performances by the talented cast and emotionally engaging storytelling," said Madden. "The series is as creatively strong today as it ever was, we want to congratulate NEW GIRL on reaching its milestone 100th episode and we can't wait for the next subversive and hilarious chapter of these characters' lives."

In the upcoming episode, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) has been given a restraining order by Sam (David Walton), her former boyfriend. She now seeks help of Winston (Lamorne Morris) to clear her name. Meanwhile, Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Nick (Jake Johnson) are scheming against the owner of a popular bar that opened up on their street.

"As the series heads toward its Season Five finale and the wedding of Schmidt and Cece (Hannah Simone), additional guest stars appearing on NEW GIRL include Megan Fox, who returns as Reagan; and Damon Wayans, Jr., reprising his role as Coach; as well as Nasim Pedrad (SCREAM QUEENS), Sonequa Martin-Green ("The Walking Dead"), Kal Penn ("House"), Rob Riggle (FOX NFL SUNDAY), Meghan Rath (COOPER BARRETT'S GUIDE TO SURVIVING LIFE), Nora Dunn ("Saturday Night Live,"), Kim Wayans ("In Living Color") and Peter Gallagher ("Togetherness")," noted FOX.

"New Girl" is a show produced by 20th Century Fox Television and was created by Elizabeth Meriwether.
