To all the nuts of the "Sherlock" Season 4, the good news is that the show has already started filming. You can see the hit BBC series on the small screens next year.

So what is the spoiler? Moriarty will be coming back to the show according to the Series 4 theme. It would be interesting to know whether or not it will come to an end in the next season.

"Sherlock" Season 4 may show you Moriarty's return, even as fans speculate on Andrew Scott's reprisal, following a statement from executive producers Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat.

"Sherlock series four - here we go again... Ghosts of the past are rising in their lives of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson bringing adventure, romance and terror in their wake," the showrunners said.

Does that mean that Moriarty was among the ghosts mentioned in the showrunners' statements? There is the possibility of Moriarty's return in "Sherlock" Season 4, with rumors that the coming season will be the finale of the series.

Gatiss and Moffat dropped another hint---that "Sherlock" Season 4 is "a story about to reach its climax." That seems to point that it will reach its finale, mostly because of the hectic timelines of the cast, especially of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman's.

However, the alternative possibility is that "Sherlock" may continue its storyline through the big screens. Remember the successful launch of "The Abominable Bride" last year? It was released in more than 20 countries with 1.7 million viewers in just China!

There is another hidden hint in the statements of the executive producers---that "Sherlock" Season 4 may display a truly extraordinary action, which might explain why it is touching its climax.

Still, it is all just a speculation, of course. Wait till the show returns to the small screens in January 2017.
