Despite claims of Duggar family forgiving the oldest son Josh Duggar, he remains an outcast as far as the family's public appearances go.

Josh Duggar confessed to sexual transgression, including molesting minors as a teenager and cheating on his wife Anna, removal of Duggars' hugely popular 19 Kids & Counting from TLC. Jill and Jessa, the two sisters among the four who were Josh's victims have been exclusively featured on the Jill & Jessa: Counting On which has received positive response but is facing advertiser trouble. Josh Duggar has not been featured on Duggars' new show nor has been photographed with the family.

In a series of photos posted on Sunday to the official Duggar Family Facebook page, Duggar siblings are seen together observing National Siblings Day. Josh Duggar is conspicuous by his absence. There are the Duggar girls, Jedidiah and Jeremiah Duggar and Jill and Derrick.

Josh Duggar's distance from his family could be out of abundance of caution the family is taking. Reports in the recent past have claimed his status of cure from porn and sex addiction is a matter of dispute within the family; Jim Bob and his wife Michelle Duggar have reportedly exchanged heated worse over Josh. Some members of the extended family are also said to be cautious when Josh is around the kids.

That apart, Josh Duggar has also not been featured on Jill & Jessa though rumors of his doing a cameo persist. The Duggar's official Facebook page which constantly posts updates about Duggar children has made mention of Josh following his return from rehab. Josh's first public appearance post rehab was with wife Anna when the two went furniture shopping in Arkansas.

There may be some truth after all to concerns expressed by some Duggar family members, including Josh's mother Michelle. Advertisers reportedly want nothing to do with Duggars and any mistimed public appearance of Josh with the family could hurt the family's reputation further.
