Allen Iverson has just been inducted to NBA Hall of Fame joining the league's pantheon of heroes and game changers. In his press conference, Allen Iverson reflected on his 14-year basketball career which made him a legend in his own right.

When asked about his family, Iverson went teary-eyed at the mention of his family. Recalling his dazzling yet polarizing presence on the hardcourt, the former 76ers guard said he would always be thankful to his family and friends for accepting who he is amid all the controversies when he was still active in professional basketball.

Also, Iverson also acknowledged that with his induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, his time is basically up as he 'can't even touch the backboard anymore'.

He also recalled his teammates 'always being in the foxhole' with him during his stint with Philadelphia.

"I'm so proud of the guys that played with me, because we knew that we gave it all we had every night," Iverson said as quoted by Philly Voice. "So we were cool with the fact that we couldn't get it done, because we knew we gave everything we had and got beat by a better team."

Even with a dismal end to his career in 2013, Iverson's quick-paced, unflinching gameplay, and volume scoring ability would always be remembered by his Philadelphia fans. Iverson reciprocated their undying admiration.

"They love me because I gave everything I had, and they honored that. And I love them for what they gave me - the love and the support that they gave me - so there'll never be anything like the relationship that I had with the fans of Philadelphia. I don't think it's possible. I don't think it'll ever happen," said Iverson after being honored at 76ers-Knicks game as quoted by USA Today.

Meanwhile, Iverson said that Cavs lead player LeBron James reminded him most of his younger self while at the height of his career in the league in an interview with Rachel Nichols on ESPN.

"Their heart...and the way they compete... The fight in them. That's why I would say LeBron. LeBron ain't got none of my game, but his heart is all mine," said Iverson as quoted in a report by the Inquisitr
