Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi have come out with another screamer with announcing their new flagship the "Mi 5". Came out in February, most of the countries have already received it. It comes with a size of about 5.6 inches in size. Weighing around 130 grams, teh screen in the front is secured b y scrtach proof Corning gorilla glass 4. The phone comes with a dual-sim slot both being nano-sim structures.

In terms of display, the phone is equipped with an IPS LCD screen which has 16M color density. The screen size is 5.15inches with a screen-to-body ratio of 73.1. The phone comes in a full-HD resolution with a pixel density of 428. The phone supports multi-touch too. This phone comes with Xiaomi's custom-skin MIUI 7.0. With an android OS 6.0 out of the box, it's powered by a SnapDragon 820 quad-core edition supported by an Adreno 530. There is no external storage accessibility but however there are two editions based on the storage size.

The bigger size variant which comes in 128GB storage variant is called the Pro edition which also comes with a 4GB ram. The other editions are out of the box with either 32GB/64GB and 3GB of ram. The 16MP camera takes fantastic images thanks to its 4-axis OIS facilities with a dual-LED flash. Video recording capacities of 4k resolution at 30fps is pretty good. The front-facing 4Mp camera can also shoot Full-HD videos at 30fps. With all Wi-Fi bands including Wi-Fi AC band, and of course Bluetooth v4.2 to connect along with NFC and Infrared ports, the phone charges itself through a USB Type-C connector.

With even fingerprint sensors included, along with 3000mAh battery to use, this phone looks pretty solid for a budget of around less than 25,000 rupees with the only cons being the price is for 32GB variant with no pricing knowledge for other variants. Even with 32GB internal storage, people can still make use of their 1TB cloud storages on OneDrive or even beit a 15GB google cloud storage. Look out for some offers from Microsoft for their cloud storage, and you might be lucky like me to grab free 5TB of cloud storage completely!

Over all for this price point the device looks solid even in terms of handling, design and usability. The only problem right now is to procure one since these flash sales are still a headache and its high time for Hugo Barra to realize that his idea of flash sales are trash.
