Meizu in 2015 released as a part of "blue charm" lineup. Their first phone is the M1. It performs like a decent phone with budget in minds. Their new designs look premium. Its a metal phone all importantly. With the Helios X10 chipset it performs very good with all cased in an aluminium alloy crystal-metal. Its actually based on Yun OS which actually is based on Android's source code.

It is a GSM phone of course with 3G and 4G bands. Sized about 5.9 inches, the phone weighs about 160grams and dual-sim capability is seen in the phone. The phone uses industry standard Nano-sized sims. It is an LTPS IPS display with 5.5 inches display size at full-HD resolution with a pixel density of 403. The phone supports multi-touch and has a shock and scratch resistant glass from Dinorex. The Flyme OS or Yun OS for the chinese market, source-coded from 5.1 lollipop is seen on the phone. T

he chipset is the Helios X10, an octa-core 2 ghz A53 chipset. PowerVR has provided the G6200 chip for graphic processes. A 2GB ram powers the phone. 

In terms of storage there is an additional expandable storage possible through a micro-SD card which needs to sit in the secondary sim slot. Up to 128GB of storage can be expanded. The phone comes with either a 16GB or a 32GB variant internal-storage. The camera at the back is 13MP capable of shooting fHD videos at 30fps. there is a dual-LED flash present. The secondary front-facing camera can also shoot fHD videos with its 5MP size. all bands including the AC-band is supported by the phone in terms of Wi-Fi and hotsports support for wireless connectivity.

There is no radio however and also no NFC chip. A micro-USB v2.0 port charges the phone and supports data transfer to the phone through the same port. Bluetooth v4.1 is present.

The phone comes with a non-removable 3140mah li-ion battery.
