Season 4 of the most awaited show, Sherlock, has begun filming. While there is no official statement about the show, co-creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, give a food for thought to the eager fans, saying, "This is the story we've been telling from the beginning. A story about to reach its climax."

No other information has been revealed about the show's release date, plot hints or character names. However, it is safe to say that Season 4 will in all probability be about the show's antagonist, Sherlock's Archenemy and the character that we love to hate, Jim Moriarty.

If the show creators say that the plot is about to climax, it is anyone's guess that they are referencing to Moriarty in one way or another. Even though he is supposedly dead, an entire episode, "The Abominable Bride" is dedicated to show how easy it is to fake your death, theoretically that is.

The show is expected to premier around January 2017 and everyone is waiting for the return of their favorite bad guy. It is not known if Sherlock is in a drug-induced state of mind, hallucinating the whole time or Moriarty has brilliantly faked his own death. However, dead or not, one thing is for sure, we are going to Moriarty again in next season and it is going to be in a huge way.

Meanwhile, Co-creators, writers and executive producers Moffat and Gatiss added, "Sherlock series four - here we go again! Whatever else we do, wherever we all go, all roads lead back to Baker Street - and it always feels like coming home. Ghosts of the past are rising in the lives of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson bringing adventure, romance and terror in their wake."
