NCIS has announced that they will cast British actor, Duane Henry, to guest star in Season 13, reports CNN International.

Now rumors are swirling around that the new guest star, from the "Dark Knight Rises," will "replace" Michael Weatherly.

Weatherly, who plays Agent Tony DiNozzo, was announced that he would not continue the show after Season 13. Because of the announcement of a new cast member, many fans are thinking it is because of Weatherly leaving NCIS, reports Design & Trend.

Viewers were especially wondering how Weatherly would be written off. Now that Henry is cast, it may possibly be that he could play a part in Agent Tony's end with NCIS.

NCIS announced that they are thrilled to work with the new cast member.

"We think we found something really special in Duane Henry," Gary Glasberg, executive producer of NCIS, said in an announcement from CBS. "His unique blend of charm, heart and athletic physicality is going to be a great addition to the mix."

The announcement goes on to say who Henry will act as. He will play MI-6 Officer, Clayton Reeves, for two episodes in Season 13.

Reeves will be "known for his swagger, confidence, and sense of humor. While he's burned a few bridges in the international intelligence community, he brings honesty to his job and a determination to make the right decisions."

Henry won't be the only one making a guest appearance. The show also revealed previously that "24" alum, Sarah Clarke, will also serve as a guest cast member in this season for two episodes as well.

Now fans are eagerly awaiting to see if Henry will become Weatherly's "replacement," especially because there is a chance that the British actor will appear as a regular in season 14, according to the Inquisitor.

What do you think? How will "Clayton Reeves" play a role in Agent Tony's "goodbye"?
