"Game of Thrones" Season 6 News Update: Talk Show “After the Thrones” to Follow

HBO, the creator of the super hit fantasy drama series "Game of Thrones" will soon come up with a talk show titled "After the Thrones". The show is scheduled to premiere on April 25, this year.

The television network is developing the talk show and has roped in Bill Simmons as producer while Chris Ryan and Andy Greenwald will be playing hosts, according to reports. The two presenters share an old working relationship and their podcast "Watch the Thrones" is hugely popular on the Internet. It shows the duo talking about the different aspects of the five season series and they offer great expertise on the epic fantasy.

Their command is admirable and they are well-versed in talking about the diverse dimensions of the drama. So, it is quite natural to expect some great fireworks on the talk show that will also have guests in the form of crazy fans and experts. If the creators get the right mix of the two, it is going to be one amazing offering.

The show will have the hosts dissecting the different events of the most recent episode. But the creators have stated that they would refrain from sending screener copies to the experts and critics so as to avoid spoilers in the different time zones.

Notably, Game of Thrones has acquired a cult status with a fan following that goes into millions across the world. And this follow-up talk show is said to be inspired from AMC's "The Talking Dead" which is quite a rage and takes after the zombie drama "The Walking Dead".

Season 6 of the HBO series will start airing shortly with the first episode set to telecast on 24 April and coupled with the talk show, which follows from the next day, it is really going to be one captivating combo. According to reports, the talk show will only be available on HBO Go, HBO Now and HBO On-Demand services as of now.
