Apple came out with another iPhone this month, termed to be the successor for their compact and stylishiPhone 5S that was released in December. Earlier than expected, although speculated the new iPhone was introduced along with their new iPads and their new operating systems for iPhones and iPads at their 21st March event in Cupertino. Starting at Rs.39000 here in India and costing around 499$ in the United States if you are planning to get one from there. This is just a renaissance device to their famous iPhone 5S sized at 4 inches. The new phone is now equipped with the latest-generation chipsets the same found in Apple's iPhone 6s.

Apple had to convince the Apple loyal consumerswith a cheaper device to appeal to customers at the lower-end of the market. In water immersion tests, the iPhone SE was put under five feet of water while powered on. The hardware immediately lost audio capabilities and went completely dead within a minute. The iPhone 6s Plus malfunctioned while submerged after ten full minutes and then quickly died.

The winner out of the three however was the iPhone 6s, which managed to survive a full 30 minutes underwater. The only problem was that the audio stopped functioning. In the tumble test, testers placed each smartphone into a box that is rotated at high-speed causing the device to get hit against the interior walls. The iPhone SE had a few scrapes on its exterior, while the iPhone 6s Plus resulted in a cracked display. The iPhone 6s again came out the big winner, exiting the box completely unscathed.

The face-down drop test proved was done for all three phones. The screens of all three smartphones cracked when dropped from six feet. However, the corner drop also proved to shackle the iPhone S and its screen cracked on the first test. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, however, survived 10 corner drops with only cosmetic damage to the body and absolutely no damages to the screen whatsoever.

The iPhone SE was also behind in bending tests compared to their current flagships iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S plus. The iPhone 6S stood better in all tests with the iPhone 6s plus fairing terribly with a high risk of breakage due to its massive size. iPhone SE might not be durable at all according to these tests .
