Apple's upcoming flagship phone is definitely talk of the web town. iPhone 7 is only a few months away and the internet is abuzz with rumors about its possible release date, specs and related news.

According to latest reports, the latest device will come equipped with a dual-camera, however, only for a 5.5-inch variant.

There are two models expected, a 4.7-inch called iPhone 7 and a 5.5-inch called iPhone 7 Plus or iPhone 7 Pro. The devices are expected to launch in September this year and by that time, 6S would have completed a full one year into the market.

Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst, said in a research note that the hyped dual-camera will only included in a 5.5-inch phone. Kuo earlier said that iPhone 7 Plus would be launched in both single and dual-cameras. The rumors also suggest that the camera quality on this iPhone will be at par with DSLR. To give its new handset the best camera, Apple bough Israeli company, LinX Computational Imaging, popular for its camera technology. This led to the speculation that this technology will be used in the upcoming device.

So far, nothing has been revealed by Apple, as far as iPhone 7 is concerned. However, the leaks confirm that the phone will most likely lose the home screen button and the antenna band.

The biggest rumor surrounding iPhone 7 is dropping 3.5mm headphone jack and replace it with lightning port. Under the hood, the phone is likely to be powered by A10 chip with 2GB/3GB RAM. Ming-chi Kuo's research note also added that the flagship iPhone 7 will be 6.0 and 6.5mm thick, 0.6mm smaller than 6s.
