The media reports that the 'Deadpool' movie has officially surpassed every other X-Men film to become the highest grossing movie in the franchise, both domestically and globally. According to Box Office Mojo, Deadpool has reached a domestic box office total of $355.1m and a global total of $745.5 million, placing it ahead of X-Men: The Last Stand($234m) at the domestic box office, and X-Men: Days of Future Past ($747.9) globally.

Deadpool set a number of other box office records, including the highest opening weekend for an R-rated film, and the biggest debut from a 20th Century Fox film.

According to MNR Daily reported: Since the release of the box office hit movie, "Deadpool," earlier in the year, a lot of Marvel fans have been curious about what the possible sequel to the movie will be bringing to the big screen. The eighth installment in the "X-Men" series of films showcased the witty one-liners of actor Ryan Reynolds, as he played the infamous titular character, otherwise known as Wade Wilson.

Also Tech Times reported: As of April 3, records show that Deadpool has earned an estimated gross of $355 million domestically and $399 million overseas, bringing its total global earnings to $754 million since its release on Feb. 12. This is against the $58 million budget the production was granted.

X-Men: The Last Stand, which previously held the top spot, recorded a total domestic gross of $234 million and $225 million overseas for a worldwide box-office earning of $459 million against its production budget of $210 million.

The superhero American movie was a marvelous hit around the globe. The biggest challenge to the makers of the movie is making a planned sequel to break the records of 'Deadpool'.
