Frozen 2 again stirs up a snowstorm of storyline and twist spoilers as Kristen Bell, the speaking and singing voice behind Anna, announced in a March interview with Collider that studio recording for the feature length Frozen sequel will begin soon.

"We're just about to. They've just written it and they're still doing tweaks, but I think we should be recording this month," Bell said.

The 35-year-old actress, who was promoting her upcoming movie 'The Boss', assured that the story of Frozen 2 is "great" and exudes "quality".

The first Frozen film's quality is unquestioned and a tough act to follow. The animated retelling of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale 'The Snow Queen' released in November 2013 received critical and commercial acclaim culminating in a Motion Picture Academy award for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for "Let It Go". "

"What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn't just put something out to put it out," Bell added.

Bell further explained that it took Disney and the team behind it a while to announce Frozen 2 because they didn't just want the feature length sequel to take a free ride on the first Frozen's success but wanted and have found an "important and engaging" story to tell.

Elsa herself, Broadway veteran Idina Menzel, even before the official Disney announcement, has been talking about Frozen 2 and had 'assumed' of a feature-length sequel when asked of it at a Today show guesting in late 2014.

Shortly after the release of the short sequel "Frozen Fever" early last year, Disney announced that Frozen 2 was definitely happening, with much of the original creative team returning - Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, as directors, Del Vecho as producer, and the songwriting duo of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, made the announcement at The Walt Disney Company's 2015 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

"At the Walt Disney Animation Studio, as with Pixar, when we do a sequel, it is because the filmmakers who created the original have created an idea that is so good that it's worthy of these characters. We enjoyed making Frozen Fever so much and being back in that world with those characters, and we love the characters in this world so much of Arendelle, that Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it, and we're taking you back to Arendelle.  And we're so excited about that."

Lasseter, in fact, gave a spoiler as he added "And Olaf's going to be in it."

Josh Gad, via Master Herald also teased that his character, Olaf may have a fun twist as the summer-loving snowman. And in a more positive note, Olaf may have a love interest, too in the next installment.

There were also rumors that Elsa and Anna may not be blood-related, complicating the emotional core of Frozen that is of the special bond between sisters.

The untitled and undated Frozen 2 is slated to be released in the spring of 2018 after the Frozen Broadway stage musical adaptation.
