The Bavarian motor works or simply putting it as "BMW" the German automaker is a German luxury vehicle, motorcycle, and engine manufacturing company founded in 1916. Headquartered in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, it also owns and produces Mini cars and serves as the parent company of Rolls-Royce.

Now, the same manufacturer is coming out with an app that comes up with a list of destinations based on your habits and calendar appointments. This is one problem not solved by phone is destination portability. There are not one but many complains about reading an address from your phone to the car's navigation system. This is all solved by apparently a single app. BMW's new Connected app, demonstrated at the Microsoft Build conference is all but hinting about solving the major problem.

Anticipating about places about user's probability of visiting, this app currently available at the iTunes store for iOS devices is now a Personal Mobility Companion where it reads your calendar and puts the address for any upcoming tasks by priming it over the to-do list. Also taking traffic into account it will also indicate drive time. It takes time to get adjusted to your work-habits but it depends on how frequently you use the app.It will also frequently notify you about traffic situations and also suggest about moving in a little earlier than planned. You can share the destinations with the Connected app so that you can eliminate about retyping addresses.

The app is now paired to the phone through Bluetooth and you can also view the app's frequent destinations on the LCD display and enter the same as destinations again with a single touch button. It was demonstrated as to how this could be done once the destination was active.

BMW demonstrated these at Microsoft's build conference where the cloud component of BMW's service is supposed to be running on Microsoft's Azure platform. Because Azure supports machine learning to examine where you are going depending upon the time in a specific date it will predict about your next destination at any given moment. BMW are planning to explain the apps to other platforms soon.
