The popular action-adventure video game "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" which won millions of hearts with its open-world design, combat and the Nemesis system might return with a sequel in the near future.

Rumors pertaining to the second installment are doing the rounds, and there is considerable proof to back the story. As per a report of Nerd Leaks, Monolith Productions is working on the game and a trailer is also in the offing.

The revelation came out in an interesting turn of events with the resume of popular stunt actress and motion capture professional Lauren Mary Kim leaking the information. It says that at present she is working on a project that goes by the name of "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor 2".

The CV also gave out the detail that Blur is doing the motion capture. The reputed show "Daredevil" and video game "Arkham Knight" are the creations of this very CGI studio. However, nothing was revealed regarding the plot and it is not clear whether the events will take place between "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings".

Notably, Kim is a well-known name in the video game industry. She is an eminent stunt actress and one of the most prolific motion capture performers. With works like "BioShock Infinite", "Batman: Arkham Knight", "Tomb Raider", "Fast and the Furious 7", "Suicide Squad" and the "Daredevil" to her credit, one can only expect fireworks in the sequel.

The report also states that the work-in-progress may be the announcement trailer, which the developers will use while declaring the game at Electronic Entertainment Expo (aka E3, the annual video game conference and show) to be held at Los Angeles later this year.

It may be mentioned here that "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" released in 2014 and if the rumors are true, it means the sequel was being developed secretly for two years.
