Korean-American singer-songwriter Sam Kim drops his debut album.

On April 11, Sam Kim did a live performance in Seoul to promote his newly released album 'I am Sam'.

Sam Kim's debut album consists of six self-written, intimate melody that expresses a personal story of his family, hometown and breezy environment of teenage. The tracks are described as honest and genuine.

One of the tracks of his album "Mama Don't Worry", is actually a comfort letter to his mother as he remains in Seoul to pursue his music career. With a calm and a good tempo, it makes the listeners really feel the emotions of the song. The character of the song portrays so well. Check the song below!

The Korean-American said, "I feel shy and nervous, but excited. Everything's unfamiliar. My Korean has improved a lot though, hasn't it?" at Itaewon on Monday.

Kim took part in the "K-Pop Star 3," a local audition program in 2014, where the singer ended up as a semifinalist. Since the audition, Sam Kim signed with Antenna Music as his record label, famous for housing singer-songwriters and its noncommercial focus.

It's been three years since Kim started to pursue his career as a musician in Korea. And now has finally dropped his debut album "I am Sam" together with his acoustic sense of music, his style somehow caught younger and average listeners.

Since it's his debut, Kim admitted he sometimes find difficulties and commit flaws with singing, however he is open to possibilities and venture new experience to improve his skill.

He stated, "It's still hard for me to hit the high notes, which is why I get nervous about live shows. But I've been practicing and training hard. I'm still young and I hope to keep growing," he said after giving a live performance of his album's title track "Let's Leave It," a groovy acoustic-funk number that features the in-demand hip-hop artist Crush.

Sam Kim and Crush made a recent collaboration with Sam's album entitled "NO눈치 LET'S LEAVE IT" that was released on April 10.
