Latest news, hints and leaks point at a highly advanced iPhone 7 that will come with a wireless charging and a built-in Touch ID on its touchscreen. It has already been rumored that with their flagship handset, they will also do away with 3.5mm headphone jack.

The recent debacle of Apple with FBI has become a strong motivation for the tech giant to develop a phone that cannot be hacked into.

Just like its predecessors, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, were launched in September 2015, it is safe to assume that this year's iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will also be unveiled around the same time. It waits to be seen what this handset will bring for its fans.

Even though it is certain that next generation of iPhone will be released in 2016 but what will it look like? Traditionally, Apple gives a complete makeover after their S variant is launched. By that logic, it is safe to assume that the flagship handset will look different from its predecessors.

According to an analyst, Apple is planning to do completely revamp its existing line of iPhones starting with iPhone 7. Ming-Chi Kuo, a reputed analyst, has predicted design and product plans for Apple for on several occasions. Kuo says that iPhone 7 may sport a curved screen and a specially technology for display.

This new phone will take design inspiration from iPhone 4/4s' "glass sandwich" look, with only addition of curved edges like Galaxy S7 Edge. To make this revolutionary design possible, Apple is switching over to AMOLED technology from its current TFT-LCD screen.

Another noted prediction associated with iPhone 7 is that the company will ditch the headphone jack. If this is true, the phone will be much slimmer than its current models.
