Google to now keep Original Photos along with Edited Drafts

Google have now decided that it will store both your original pictures along with edited drafts. The internet search giants have decided to give into the users' requests.

A new feature that will keep many people happy. Both the edited and original pictures will now be stored by Google so that if anything gets messed up in the middle, we all can get back to square one. This move by Google will make sure their users will not be compromised by over-edits, saturation mistakes etc. This is all a part of the update version 1.17.

So if you are currently working in a version below than the mentioned, then it's probably likely that you might have to update it to make sure you enjoy the latest addition. This feature is automatically turned on, and it cannot be toggled off. Seems like a good thing after all.

Since Google offers an unlimited storage for Photos, this shouldn't matter much to the providers at all.

Google Photos have been fantastic and performing well since migrated to its own service last year.

Google Photos will now automatically back up all of your photos to your Google account when connected to Wi-Fi and options to metered connections as well. Google can also stylize your photos and also create collages.

With some good filters, you can also try giving Google control of your photos and some might even turn up better than the original capture. You can also now select what folders to be backed-up to Google's servers. This can now let users chose folders themselves and might even be a good option for users on Marshmallow since you can even restrict to peep-in to other folders that needs no necessary intrusion at all by restricting permissions.

All these features are also now currently available on the web version too. Pre-installed as a part of the operating system environment itself, you can still download it individually if not found in your phone.
