iPhone 6s Plus vs Samsung galaxy S7 Edge Specs, Features and Price: Which Phone is Better?

Apple last year did come out with two models of their newer iPhones the 6s and the 6s plus, the latter suited for users choosing a bigger display as per comforts.

The process was the same as in 2014 where there were two iPhone variants too. Meanwhile on the Android side, the Korean giants also followed a similar pattern by coming out with two of their flagships for 2015 with the galaxy S7 and S7 EDGE. Let's take a look at both of the devices the 6s PLUS and the S7 EDGE.

Now it's always challenging for an android to write neutral for both the phones especially when you're a tech-nerd who've been into phones for as long as they've come out as smartphones and now most of our lives are wholly or partially dependent on it.

Samsung really did do a pretty good job with S7 edge. No absurd naming first of all. Most of the phone's factor is familiar if you've owned its predecessor the S6 edge before. The Korean giants have fixed most of the worst parts about the S6 edge and re-introduced to the market as S7 edge. The S7 edge is now IP68 certified which means it's now both dust and water proof. What I like the most! Praise the lord! it's now thicker to house more battery capacity (take notes Apple!). The camera bump has now been arguably being reduced.

The fingerprint sensor is also now flatter than the previous phone. The camera now has dual-pixel Auto focus system. However, there's no IR blaster in the new phone. What's new? is now the new Samsung flagship has always-on display where you can see the date and time 24/7 without actually waking the phone from sleep.

The edge panel also now has more options with even news now accessible from the edge panel. The S7 edge also supports Qi charging (turbo charging). Meanwhile the 6S edge plus being a year older (at least in terms of numbering) it's not really wise to compare the 6S Plus to the newly announced Samsung flagship. Hence all we can do is either compare for now, or wait for an announcement from the Cupertino based tech giants for a new phone in September. (No the iPhone SE is not the 2016 flagship sorry!).

However, the most notable features absent in the Apple side is that the 6S Plus currently doesn't support wireless charging or even quick charging. But it does charge your phone quicker with the OEM charger itself so that's not a problem for now.

People in the United States are only getting to purchase the Snapdragon combo and not the Samsung's Exynos combination. Really Samsung? Why? Samsung really dominates the display in comparison to both the phones with a quad-HD SUPER AMOLED display compared to LCD displays by Apple! Yeah even though the Retina displays enhances the viewing clarity in their phones, compare the battery consumption too.

4GB in the S7 edge is more than necessary. However, it comes at a price, the 32GB starting at 48,999 and increases as the storage increases. Hence both of the phones might either cost the same more-or-less. Samsung for 2016, for sure have impressed a lot of people in the Green side of the phone market.
