Cupertino based tech leaders just rolled off their much talked about March event. While many were anticipating the new range of MacBook Air and Pro, the company talked nothing about it. In fact, the two laptops were completely out of sight at the event.

Reports say that the recent Apple event was uninteresting and didn't offer too much fodder for the media. In fact, one even goes on to say, as per the review notes from the event, "Maybe the products Apple launched weren't that interesting." However, looks like not all is lost. For all those who are eagerly awaiting the release of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air 2016, you can rest assured that the new range of smart laptops will indeed launch, and much better and efficient from their predecessors. Despite their absence from the March event, it is almost definite that these anticipated laptops will be launched for sure.

According to the recent rumors, Apple is all set for its new range of MacBook. The newer versions will be thinner and lighter.

Apple will upgrade their hyped 12-inch variant of MacBook with the Retina display and will equip them with Intel SkyLake chip before the end of April. The 13-inch and 15-inch models will follow later, in the following weeks. Rumor has it that since these laptops didn't make it in March event last week, they will probably be unveiled in next big Apple event, WWDC, that is scheduled to happen in June.

There is also news that MacBook Air will discontinue this lineup. Now that the MacBook Pro range has been redesigned to make it faster, lighter and thinner, MacBook Air's fate hangs in the balance. The reason why Apple never introduced a 15-inch Air model is because they feared that a big laptop will be defeat the purpose of MacBook Air. However, it looks like Apple will eliminate this limitation by showing Air the exit way.
