New York Knicks mowed down Chicago Bulls 115-107 Wednesday night putting a halt to Bulls' attempt to complete a sweeping four-game homestand that would have elevated its position in the Eastern Conference standings.

With the loss, Bulls lagged behind Detroit Pistons as the team braces for a tight race toward the highly coveted playoff spot.

In the game, rookie Kristaps Porzingis certainly had no idea what awaited him on that special game after going up for an embarrassing nearly shaky dunk in the first quarter. But with his inside-outside game throughout the night, Bulls defense just can't seem to handle him.

Knicks 7-foot-3 center scored a career high with 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Carmelo Anthony scored some hefty 24 points that allowed New York to dominate Chicago according to WSJM Sports update.

"On the first dunk, I did not have my legs. I almost missed it. I was OK physically and able to knock down shots. The ball was moving and I had some pretty good looks. I looked up at the scoreboard in the fourth quarter and saw how many (points) I had, but I didn't know about the record. I don't want to force up a shot just to break a record," said Porzingis as quoted by Auburn Pub.

Meanwhile, in the wake of recent devastating loss to Knicks, Bull's All-Star swingman Jimmy Butler felt 'terrible' as he tried to make sense of the 115-107 on the scoreboard.

"I know this is a team game, but if one of your so-called best players is not doing what he's supposed to do, that's what's going to happen... It's saddening. It's piss-poor. It's terrible. My teammates won't say it, my coaches won't say it, but I'm a realist. If I continue to play like this I'm hurting this team," a terribly hurt Butler exclaimed as quoted in a report by ESPN.
