The Weeknd has probably disappointed his fans. He will no longer join the "Work" singer, Rihanna, for the European leg of her global "ANTI" tour.

"Due to some unforeseen changes with upcoming projects, The Weeknd will no longer be joining Rihanna on her upcoming international Anti World Tour," concert, promoter Live Nation said Wednesday morning.

The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, has not given any reasons, and neither has Rihanna. But the program has got cancelled probably because this "Can't Feel My Face" singer is working on his next album.

"[Abel] has hit a stride on his new album and decided not to interrupt the process," a source said.

His great hits such as "Earned It" and "The Hills" will not be performed live. Her alternative act, Big Sean, will be part of the singer's tour for the two-month period. The North American leg of the "ANTI" tour is ongoing for almost a month, with rapper Travis Scott giving space to the Barbadian.

Rihanna had an alluring dance session with Drake in a Miami concert  Both the rapper and singer joined to perform their latest hit single, "Work," which is Number 1 on the Billboard charts. It has been streamed more than 34 million times, selling over 97,000 digital copies.

Rihanna will be on a world tour for her latest album, called "ANTI." It was out eight weeks ago, but now "ANTI" has climbed  back to the top of the charts and become Number One.

While earlier, it had peaked in its second week after coming out, the first Rihanna album remained No. 1 for more than one week. Now, "ANTI" has sold almost 300,000 copies.

Rihanna's tour  will be travelling the pond on June 17, 2016 in Amsterdam and will end in Berlin on Aug 16, 2016.
