Terry Bollea and Gawker : Decision to be expected soon.

The case between Terry Bollea and Gawker is nearing its final stages; the closing arguments are scheduled this Thursday. Oh! Yes, not many might get the name of Terry Bollea, but when I say Hulk Hogan you know what this is all about. The celebrated former wrestler Hulk Hogan had publically swaggered about his sexual prowess, which drew considerable attention to the tape.

Hulk Hogan had sued Gawker over a publication of a sex tape involving Hulk Hogan and his friend's wife. This not only drew huge attention but also resulted in Hulk Hogan suing Gawker for violating his privacy rights by publicising the sex tape. Hulk Hogan has also used this line of arguments to win the case against Gawker. While Gawker denies vehemently and says that he had bragged about his sexual prowess and drew attention to the tape.

New evidence has resulted in a turnaround of events in the case, when the former wife of a Florida radio personality, Heather Cole said in a video deposition that she had been hurt on the way how Hulk Hogan had gone publically about this in tears.

Apparently she was the one with who Hulk Hogan appears in the tape. While Hogan has rebutted and said that it was only discussed in the wrestling persona and was directly linked with his profession. It is to be noted that Hogan seeks to claim a $100 million damage compensation from Gawker.

However the jury might have other amount in their mind as compensation, which is completely different from what Hogan seeks to get if they favour Hogan arguments. Legal Experts have already expected an appeal from Gawker if he loses the case to Hulk Hogan and might argue his case on the grounds of 1st amendment.
