Matt Mitrione, who is at the juncture of his mixed martial arts career, is faring well with standing offers from Bellator and ONE championship. His current contract with UFC expired when he turned 37. The record at which his partnership ended was 9-5 (won-lost). Consequently, this leaves him in a comfortable position given the offer's he has received.

The star announced that he has obtained a lucrative offer from Bellator and is beaming about the same. In addition to this he also has been conversing with ONE championship.

Matt is said to have handed over the offer sheet that was received from Bellator. He claims on giving UFC the opportunity to match the terms stated by the former and if they agree, he would be excited to continue.

Despite having a standing hefty offer Matt hasn't exhibited the promptness one would expect. The underlying reason for that is the urge to have a rematch with Travis Browne.

He has claimed to have unfinished business with the UFC. The first person he would be up against if the UFC is to match would be his nemesis Travis Browne. That fight as quoted by Matt himself will be the "Money fight". He has proclaimed that the world knows who is a better fighter between him and Travis. He considers the previous fight to be unfortunate and unfair considering the number of eye pokes Browne had on Mitrione leading to his knockout. However, he states that Browne is going to lose desperately if they were to cross path's again in the ring since he would have to stand against his forward aggressions.

With an open challenge such as this, everyone wants the UFC to renew the terms with Mitrione. On looking back years later, the historic fight between Mitrione and Browne would be a benchmark's to commemorate.
