In her song, Piece by Piece, the heavily-pregnant singer, pours her heart out to the audience watching the Idol season finale. In the end, Clarkson had not noticed that she, herself has also been moved together with judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr.

"I begged you to want me but you didn't want to/ And all of your words, they fall flat. I made something of myself and now you wanna come back. But your love, it isn't free. It has to be earned," goes the lyrics in a report from CNN.

"I'm pregnant, and it's nostalgic, and I can't believe it's the last season," the songstress said as mentioned by Entertainment Weekly.

"You have us all in tears. The emotion that you exude always, but especially in that important song, it's just incredible," host Ryan Seacrest chimed in.

'It's such a touching song for me as I wrote it while pregnant for my little girl and now I am pregnant with my little boy, which I hope comes out very soon," the American Idol Season 1 winner said.

"It is not my turn to speak but I don't care. If I were you, which God bless I wish I were, every time I opened my mouth to sing I would be like ''You are welcome," the 33-year old singer said as mentioned in Daily Mail.

In her social media page, the singer wrote "What an emotional night. Thanks American Idol for such a beautiful beginning & a perfect ending."
