Harry Potter fans who missed JK Rowling's magical world of Hogwarts may rejoice once more as the author announced the arrival of the 8th book, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child this summer.

According to Independent, the story may not focus much on Harry but on his son, Albus as he set his own journey learning magic in Hogwarts. Well, it was also announced previously that the story will talk about Harry's early years being with parents, Lily and James-an aspect not totally exposed in the series. Then again, Rowling again that The Cursed Child is not a prequel of the HP series.

Rowling had also warned fans before that the next book will not be a novel but a script of the play further saying that this is 'the only proper medium for the story.'

The story will also be set 19 years after Harry's life-changing story in The Deathly Hallows and it opened with him as a hardworking parent in the Ministry of Magic. Though, Rowling is tight-lipped about the story's spoilers, but it has been said that Albus will meet more darkness with the 'legacy he never wanted.'

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts I & II will be released a day after the play will have its first showing in London in July 31, BBC said.

David Shelley, chief executive of the publishers Little, Brown Book Group also announced that the eight book comes along an ebook that comes out simultaneously with the printed copies.

"We are so thrilled to be publishing the script of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. JK Rowling and her team have received a huge number of appeals from fans who can't be in London to see the play and who would like to read the play in book format - and so we are absolutely delighted to be able to make it available for them," he announced in a statement.

In the play, JK Rowling teams up with scriptwriters Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. The cast will include Jamie Parker, who will play as the old version of Harry Potter and Noma Dumezweni who will take Hermione Granger's role.

Meanwhile, Harry Potter fans cannot help but gushed about the latest addition to their collection of HP books.

In tweets collected by CNN, a user said, "All i can say to this shameless attempt at cashing in on #HarryPotter is TAKE MY MONEY!!!!! TAKE IT ALL!!"

"Omg an 8th #HarryPotter installment is being published & muggles everywhere can't even," another one wrote.
