A new set of winners was announced on Sunday for the Golden Globe Awards 2016 with Leonardo finally getting his third Golden Globe and Sylvester Stallone making a confession about talking to imaginary friends among other winners who made it for this year's prestigious awards.

In his speech for his Best Actor award, DiCaprio talked about that shocking and heart-raising bear attack scene in the movie The Revenant, which according to him, is a product of hard work and research of the movie director, Alejandro González Iñárritu and director of photography Emmanuel "Chivo" Lubezki.

"Alejandro himself watched over 100 different bear attacks but he what creates in that sequence is something almost like virtual reality. It almost awakens other senses, and I think people are talking about it for good reason," he said as mentioned in Entertainment Weekly.

Iñárritu, himself, bags the Best Director award while the movie got three awards including the Best Dramatic Film award.

Sylvester Stallone, who won the Best Supporting Actor for the movie Creed, also felt stunned as he never expected to bag the trophy.

"I didn't expect it at all. I don't remember a standing ovation. I was in shock. Was there really? You're kidding. I have to get a TiVO. I didn't expect to win at all. ... I got very caught up in emotion. ... It makes me realize in life, it's not over 'til it's over. People should never give up trying. It's a very positive message for everyone," he said in a report from USA Today.

The 69-year old action star also confessed at that night that he, sometimes, have conversations with his imaginary friend, Rocky Balboa who is his inspiration for Creed.

"Sometimes you can come up with some interesting and valuable ideas. It's just snatches of something. We all have an inner dialogue. It's constantly probing ideas. Yes, I have long conversations with Rocky Balboa. Every now and then, there's a little snatch of it which makes it onto the film," he said.

Meanwhile, it can be remembered that this year's Golden Globes started with a hilarious monologue Ricky Gervais as he alludes to trending issues of the week including Bruce Jenner in his transformation to being Caitlyn Jenner and Sean Penn's secret meetings with El Chapo, according to CBS News.

Best pals, Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence continued the fun as JLaw had her dig on pay inequality when being called up as one of the presenters.
