Now that the much-awaited George Lucas prequel is about to be launched this week, Hollywood stars and Star Wars super fans have been very excited to experience the Jedi world once more.

According to CBC News, fans have been setting lining up for days now that resulted to the traffic jam in the road leading to the Chinese Theater. To get a secure spot in the theater, fans have set up massive tents where they sleep and rest for days somewhere along Hollywood Boulevard.

Star Wars: Awakens is slated to have its premiere at the Chinese Theater and a special viewing on December 17. However, a week before these release dates, fans have already camped out in this location to get a seat and a good view of Hollywood stars coming for the premiere.

"We just want to show our appreciation and the love that we have for Star Wars," Jesse Brown who originally hails from Vancouver but has been living in Los Angeles has stayed for twelve days outside the theater using just a blanket for his beddings.

"It's like this volcano is rising up. People just so long to see this, to see J.J. Abrams' ideas come physically to be on the screen," Anthony Daniels, who portrays robot C-3PO in the Star Wars film series told the publication in an earlier interview.

Olivia Munn, who will play Psylocke in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, and her boyfriend Aaron Rodgers also showed their Star Wars fanaticism on Instagram as she wore a black, Star Wars shirt and the NFL player with a Ob-Wan Kenobi robe, US Magazine said.

"Who's the bigger @StarWars fan," she captioned the pic. "The one who bought this awesome shirt at @oldnavy or the one who already owned his own Obi-Wan Kenobi robe?" the actress captioned the picture.

Meanwhile, JJ Abrams, director/co-writer/co-producer of the Lucas movie shared that he advised people to watch the movie in traditional theaters rather than in 3D, Stuff.co.nz reported.

"As someone who really hasn't been the most vocal advocate of 3D, the strangest thing happened to me on this. When I was watching the reels in 3D, there were a number of shots - and I know this sounds insane - that I hadn't understood in the three-dimensional space quite the way I did when I saw them in 3D. I actually felt that there were things that were playing better in 3D. I had never felt that before. And if people have access to a theatre that has laser projection, it is shockingly better," he told the publication.

"You cannot compare a traditionally projected image with a laser image. The blacks are true blacks. It's almost as if you have to adjust to it," he added.
