Adele's newly-released album 25 is said to be the greatest hit album in 2016. However, Adele's legion of fans may be frustrated to know that they would not be hearing her songs in any streaming sites online.

According to Reuters, Adele's full album will not be available in streaming sites like Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. However, the singer grants rights to Apple Music in streaming her single 'Hello' as well as tracks in her album on iTunes.

Pandora and Google Play are said to be unavailable to comment on the issue.

She's benefiting from paid subscriptions, but she's using this as an opportunity to try and sell more CD's or downloads. If all artists did this, we wouldn't have the growth in subscriptions we have," Tyler Goldman, chief executive, North America, of music streaming company Deezer said in a previous interview.

Adele's 25 is her first album since 21 was released in 2011 with 30 million copies worldwide and her single Skyfall in 2012 for the James Bond movie franchise.

This is not the first time that an artist from the music industry did not allow rights for streaming rights for their music. A year ago, Taylor Sift can be remembered pulling out tracks from her 1989 album from Spotify. Also, Beyonce was also remembered to have withheld streaming of her Beyonce album released in 2013, New York Times said.

Mark Mulligan, a digital media analyst with Midia Research viewed Adele's decision, with the enormous popularity of her music, as a major issue in the streaming industry.

"For two years running they've not had the biggest album of the year," he said.

Spotify, meanwhile is still hopeful that the Brit singer will still change her decision and put her music in their streaming site.

"We love and respect Adele, as do her 24 million fans on Spotify. We hope that she will give those fans the opportunity to enjoy '25' on Spotify alongside '19' and '21' very soon," wrote the company.

Vanity Fair said that Adele fans still have to hear nine more heart-breaking tracks from the 25 album. Aside from Hello, the album also contains tracks such as When We Were Young, Send My Love (to Your New Lover), I Miss You, Remedy, Water Under the Bridge, River Lea, Love in the Dark, Million Years Ago, All I Ask and Sweetest Devotion.
