Apart from the expensive hospitalisation and rehabilitation for half a year, Lamar Odom might now be facing some criminal charges, according to HNGN.

With the former NBA star's use of cocaine beginning to make the rounds, officials said that Lamar Odom could be prosecuted for possessing drugs. The Nye County Sheriff is hoping that it happens, according to TMZ

Law enforcement sources reported that the Sheriff's department has despatched his blood tests to the district attorney. He might prosecute Odom for "felony drug use".

However, it might not land him in jail as he is a "first-time offender".

Moreover, the brothel where he was found unconscious on Oct. 13, is also being investigated, as management may have tried to push two hookers with "bad drug reputations" on him.

Last Monday night, a man claiming to be Odom's assistant tried to break into his room, explaining that Odom had called him, according to TMZ. However, once he went to his room, the security felt that something was amiss, and stopped him. It just so happened that his wife, Khloe Kardashian, was not in the hospital.

The invader is suspected to be one of the people who encouraged Odom's drug use while they lived together in Las Vegas. When Odom entered the hospital, his management fired the man for enabling him to use drugs.

The security did not permit him to enter, leading to "a lot of yelling and a big scene."
