Now there is a new counselling session in progress through technology for Sija and Babyface, lovers who were separated and fell into some depression.

What makes the session unusual is that they helped two seals, who proved that they "cared immensely for each other" but remained separated for 160 miles due to their circumstances, reported People. Now with iPads and FaceTime, the times have changed.

They had met last summer at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary in the U.K., and like Romeo and Juliet, fell deeply in love.

However, in the course of their relationship, Sija soon got two pups, although she had been on a contraceptive pill. Now this was not approved by the Seal Sanctuary, so Sija was shoved off into a female harem at the Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park.

That was when the researchers decided to introduce ipads to keep them engaged.

"This is the first time we've ever done anything like this, a seal FaceTime," said Weymouth's sea life display curator, Fiona Smith, according to The Dodo. "It's worked really well. Initially, the seals were a little bit cautious of the screen, but they got more and more curious and started nosing at it and interacting, which is lovely to see."

When Sija feels lonely and heartbroken, she uses the ipad to stay in touch with her loverboy Babyface, who is just one click away.
